Photographing the symbol of America, the Bald Eagle, in Alaska
Ejaz Khan travels to Haines, Alaska to follow the majestic American Bald Eagles. The subject of much of our imagination and fascination, these gorgeous bald eagles are a symbol of America. In the autumn months, in the Valley of Eagles in Haines, Alaska, over 3000 of these birds congregate to feast on the salmon in the Chilkat rivers. It provides ample opportunities for birding and photography. Despite how many times we see them on our screens, watching them in the wild – with their wings spread wide in all their glory – is truly a sight to behold.
Shot in: Haines, Alaska, USA.
