BEAR WALL DECOR
I traveled to Lake Clark, Alaska to take pics of grizzly bears. This cub was an only child, so mom spoiled him rotten. I had watched her play with the little one for a long time. She became exhausted and lay her head down to rest while the cub entertained himself. The cub got bored and wanted his mother’s attention. He began biting her ears and jumped on her belly. I thought “what an amazing mother!”. At that very moment, the mother bear got up and let out a loud cry. The cub must have accidentally hurt her. I was so close I felt the ground shake, Playtime came to an immediate halt. Mother was angry; the cub looked as if he was about to cry. Enough is enough.
BEAR WALL DECOR FOR YOUR HOME
Conservation: How we help animals affected by climate change by selling bear pictures.
Above all, I have always believed in giving back. When I began to realize the real toll that climate change has taken on the plant and animal subjects of my photography, I knew I had to do something. What was even scarier was that the negative effects of climate change were just beginning to impact the natural world. If gone unchecked, it would truly destroy the beauty and harmony of the world we live in. I decided that I wanted to do my share to aid the effort to conserve species being affected by global warming. The best way for me to do this was by giving back. Supporting conservation groups and also organizations that were fighting for these creatures as well.
As a fashion photographer, I pay the models. In wildlife, I can not pay the animals I photograph. If it were possible to compensate the subjects in my black and white bear photography, I would. However, I did find a way to pay them back. I developed relationships with conservation organizations. Wolf Conservation Center, Cana Foundation, and also World Animal Protection are organizations doing the important work of fighting for the conservation of animals and their natural environments. A percentage of all sales of these Alaskan bear images and also our entire wildlife collection is donated to these organizations.
Any purchase you make from Ejaz Khan Earth, not only adds an inspiring image of these beautiful creatures to your collection but also helps conserve their species.
