PICTURE OF HORSE IN SNOW
While I was planning my expedition to photograph the Musk Oxen in the beautiful snow-white mountains of Norway, I decided it would be a great opportunity to photograph horses as well. Researching online I came across a ranch and absolutely loved it. I called them a few times ranch but I did not get a response.
After reaching Norway and rented a car at the airport, I set off for a six-hour drive towards the musk oxen. On the way, I realized that the horse ranch I loved was just a short 20-minute detour from my route. I took the chance and headed towards the ranch. It was about 7 o’clock in the evening, the sun had set. After reaching the ranch, I walked towards the house that was lit. I rang the doorbell and waiting for an answer.
A gentleman opened the door and asked me how he could help. Telling him my whole story and why I was there, he very politely allowed me into his home sat at me down and offered me food or tea. After discussing with his wife, he agreed for me to photograph his horses.
The photoshoot on his ranch was set for two days later. That made me immensely happy. This gentleman did not know me from anywhere nor did he research me at all. I was an absolute stranger to this man. Yet he brought me into his home, offered me tea, and agreed to what I wanted.
The lesson that I took from this experience is that the world is a beautiful place. The people living in it are even more beautiful, we just need to trust each other more.

This horse was so powerful when he ran I could clearly see he was the alpha male.
The sun was descending over the horizon as I came upon some wild horses grazing on saltwater grass.
Two things could have happened; I could have ended up in the ER or ended up with an image like this one.
