BEAR PRINT | CLAMMING
Lake Clark, Alaska, early evening. This was the only bear who was clamming for miles. She repeatedly looked over her shoulder, mainly when her back was towards the shore. She seemed wary of a rival or male bear coming from behind. She was spending more time looking over her back than she was clamming.
I realized I was doing the same and smiled to myself. For some reason, we were comfortable with one other.
