HORSE PRINT | FOCUS
Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Early Evening. I got into the marsh so I could get closer to the horse you see on the far right corner with splashes of water covering his face. He was beautiful and I wanted him to be the center of attention in my image. But every time I tried to focus on him, my attention was pulled to the one closest to me. It was very difficult to get him in focus because all of the commotion that was going on. I kept trying but eventually gave up and started focusing on the horse closest to me. I captured this image and I am pleased with it, but this is not what I wanted when I first started out.
Had I pursued my orignal vision, I could have achieved it. But I got comfortable and went for the one with the least effort.
Is that what happens to us in life? We get what we focus on, what we focus on is up to us.
