BALD EAGLE PRINT | OUT OF CONTROL
Haines, Alaska. I got up later than I wanted. The sun was out, but it was snowing hard. I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and ran out the door of my motel. It was my last day in Haines, and I wanted to make the most of it. I pulled onto the road and looked out the windshield- I realized then I was driving in a blizzard. My vehicle swerved all over the road; in every sense, I was out of control. I barely made it to my destination. As I got out of the car and positioned my equipment, I could not stop thinking about how out of control my ride had been. I decided to replicate that feeling in my photographs. I opted for slow shutter speed to achieve this effect. I relived the sensation of my brain moving fast as the car moved slowly, with the snow beating down upon me.
