HORSE RUNNING | THUNDER
Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, early morning. This was taken during my first visit, I had planned to photograph horses running towards me. My main objective was to demonstrate the power and strength of these animals.
I set my camera and tripod low in the muddy water and started to track them running towards me. The ground shook, water splashed all over the place. This made me so nervous but the lust for the image was greater. I was not prepared for the tsunami-like wave that precedes the horse's arrival. My lens and camera got soaked and It felt like I had taken a bath in sewer water. I was very ecstatic; I knew I had gotten the photographs that I had envisioned.
A lesson I have learned about animals is their reflexes are more fine-tuned than ours. They will never intentionally do harm.
By nature, horses are loving animals.
Being able to work on fine art equine photography, I have been given the privilege to visit some of the most beautiful places in the world. Each fine art photo is printed on Kodak metallic paper, making these stallions come to life. We display them at our New York art gallery in the largest size, but you can purchase them in four different sizes. No matter your space, our horse art photography fits perfectly in your home or office.
